The Cape Film Commission has announced the launch of the Eden Independent Film Festival (EIFF), which will take place in the City of George from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2015.
The festival has an exciting line up of films and workshops highlighting the South African film industry and reflecting on the year of cultural exchange with the United Kingdom. It has also partnered up with the 48Hr Film Project and the Shnit International Short Film Festival to bring additional depth to the program and to further showcase local film production and South African short films.
EIFF workshops will include panel discussions and mentoring sessions featuring some of the best and most experienced film makers in South Africa together with high level representatives of the SABC who will discuss and advise on what their expectations are from the local industry.
The final program can be downloaded from our EIFF 2015 Program page. Please note that although this is finalized, it may still be subject to change.
